I am addicted to Caramel Coffees at McDonalds and Starbucks. Wondering if it is the caramel that makes it addictive, I paid a visit to the local grocery store and went to the aisle with liquid caramel. Sure enough, the first 2 ingredients listed were Corn Syrup and High Fructose Corn Syrup, the two strongest sugars that create enough dopamine to make their products addictive.
Now I know. But can I stop drinking them now that I know what they are doing to me?
